Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions of this agreement may not be changed orally. Any deviation from the agreement does not alter the remaining portions. This agreement is non-transferable. This agreement is between “Trainer,” Three Little Pits Pawsitive Dog Training LLC (including all agents, representatives, or associated parties) (RELEASEE), and the above “Client” (RELEASOR).

Cost for private training: $110 per hour or $150 for 90 minutes. Behavioral problems (separation anxiety, resource guarding, reactivity, dog aggression) require an initial fee of $260, which includes the initial 90-minute consult/training session and a one-hour follow-up session. Additional one-hour sessions may be set up as needed. There is no additional travel fee for locations less than 20 miles from me. For locations 20 miles and above, a travel fee of $35 will be charged. Payment is required in advance for all private sessions and can be paid via Venmo (traci-madson or ThreeLittlePits) or Zelle (435-640-3143). Board and Train, Group Classes, and Training Package prices available upon request. Prices are subject to change.

Clients who cancel within 24-48 hours of appointment will be charged a $40 reschedule fee. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or fail to show up for a scheduled appointment, you will be required to pay for that session. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. Unused package sessions may be applied towards future training and are non-transferable. Training and behavior modification require commitment on the part of Trainer as well as Client, and I am reserving a time specifically to work with you and your pet. If you do need to cancel or reschedule a training appointment, please do so by text message at 435-640-3143 as I am not always able to check email messages during the day.

Waiver, Assumption of Risk, and Agreement to Hold Harmless:
I understand and agree that genetics, health, and environmental history (e.g past experiences, lack of early training, neutron, etc., will affect my dog’s behavior. I understand and agree that training may not be able to cure aggression, or other genetically caused problems, and I further understand and assume all risks associated with owning and harboring a dog that may be aggressive. By signing and submitting this application, I agree to work on all given assignments and maintain my dog’s training. I understand that Traci Madson and Three Little Pits Pawsitive Dog Training LLC cannot make any guarantee regarding the outcome of any training/counseling program.

“Trainer” agrees to instruct the “Client” in its philosophies and preferred method of training for the amount of time allocated to the session. Client agrees that Three Little Pits Pawsitive Dog Training LLC, Traci Madson, Fetch LLC are in no way responsible for the behavior of the animal during or following all sessions. Trainer does not guarantee specific results, but does guarantee to provide the services as described in this contract. Trainer agrees to provide lessons for Client and Dog on a lesson-by-lesson basis, the goal being to teach Client how to train and work with Dog. Trainer will make every reasonable effort to help Client achieve training and behavior modification goals but makes no guarantee of Dog’s performance or behavior as a result of providing professional animal behavior consultation. Client understands that he/ she and members of the household must follow Trainer’s instructions without modification, work with dog daily as recommended, and constantly reinforce training being given to Dog. Client understands that there is never a 100% guarantee regarding a dog’s behavior.

If at any time during a session a Three Little Pits Pawsitive Dog Training LLC representative feels the animal is ill, abused, or exhibiting any behaviors that interfere with teaching methods or endanger the health and safety of any participants or bystander, including the animal, OR Three Little Pits Pawsitive Dog Training LLC, Fetch LLC representatives, or feels that the Client has motives, goals, or demands that are not in concert with the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers Code of Ethics, our representative may abort the session, alter the service selection, and/or alter the length of the session at the expense of the Client. 

If Dog causes property damage, or bites or injures any dog, animal or person (including but not limited to Trainer and Trainer’s agents), during or after the term of this Agreement, then Client agrees to pay all resulting losses and damages suffered or incurred, and to defend and indemnify Three Little Pits Pawsitive Dog Training LLC, Traci Madson, Fetch LLC including its agents, from any resulting claims, demands, lawsuits, losses, costs or expenses, including attorney fees. If Dog is injured in a fight or in any other manner during or after the term of the Agreement, Client assumes the risk and agrees that Three Little Pits Pawsitive Dog Training LLC, Traci Madson, Fetch LLC, or its agents, should not be held responsible for any resulting injuries, losses, damages, costs or expenses. 

By signing below, I understand that every animal reacts in a different manner to training and that animals are by nature unpredictable. Therefore, training requires full attention and total awareness at all times. Animals may, without warning, cause injury to humans and/or other animals and I, the undersigned as RELEASOR, in consideration of Three Little Pits Pawsitive Dog Training LLC as the RELEASEE, release and indemnify the RELEASEE’s owners, heirs, executors, administrators, successors, employees, agents, directors, officers and anyone acting in the scope of business as a representative of Traci Madson, Three Little Pits Pawsitive Dog Training LLC, Fetch LLC as to attacks, bites, kicks, scrapes, scratches, mauling or all of the above, by animals to any persons or animals, including my own, before, during and after any sessions with Three Little Pits Pawsitive Dog Training LLC personnel.
